From cstv.com:
A week after winning his first collegiate tournament, freshman Rory Hie again led the No. 8 USC men’s golf team, this time with a tie for sixth place, to help Troy to a third place finish at the 2007 General Jim Hackler Championship sponsored by Chanticleer Holdings at the TPC of Myrtle Beach in Murells Inlet, S.C., on Monday (March 12).

Hie started the day tied for 14th, but fired a 3-under 69 to move up the leaderboard into a tie for sixth at 212 (-4). The winner of the USC Collegiate Invitational earlier in the week, Hie was 3-under on the front nine and par the rest of the way to post his fifth sub-70 outing in the last nine rounds.
Rory picked up his first individual collegiate win as a freshman, scoring 69-68-71–208 (5-under) in the USC Collegiate Invitational at North Ranch Country Club in Westlake Village, CA [March 5 - 7, 2007].
Rory Hie provided a silver lining when he became the first Trojan in over two decades to capture the individual title with a score of 208 for 5-under par.
The only other USC golfer to win the individual title was Sam Randolph, who accomplished the feat in 1984.
